Parc du Bournat

In the heart of the Périgord Noir in the Vézère valley, the Parc du Bournat in Bugue immerses you in the daily life of a Périgord village at the beginning of the last century.
The town hall in blond Périgord stone, the chapel, the school, the windmill, the vegetable garden, etc.: here, time stopped in 1900, so stroll on foot or in a carriage through the streets of the village which covers 8 hectares.
While entertainers bring old tunes and legends to life, the craftsmen get busy: the cutler makes walnut-handled knives, the potter shapes pitchers, vases and jars.
