Into the river
The river Vézère crosses the department on 78 km and is classified in 2nd category. She is lined with wild and lush nature, overhanging cliffs with prehistoric sites, 13 of which are inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List. In a sumptuous landscape, fishing is prolific there.
The Vézère is mainly frequented by migratory fish such as salmon, sea trout, shad and lamprey, pike, pike-perch, carp, perch, roach, abalone, catfish and eel.
The lake of Fongran in Thonac is accessible from the 2nd Saturday of March to October.
The Pond of "le Coucou" in Hautefort welcomes you from March to November and offers you 13 fishing positions for a NO KILL fishing.
The Pond of Tamniès
In addition to a swimming pond, the Tamniès pond offers a fishing pond open from May to December. To access it, you have to buy a special card from the town hall of Tamniès (05 53 29 68 95).
You would like to fish without fishing card
The ponds of the Bos in Saint Chamassy from June to September (by reservation) proposes 7000m3 to fish. Dowels, carp, tench, poles and pike perch waiting for you!
