Village de Saint-Chamassy
Framed by the Vézère and the Dordogne, the town of Saint-Chamassy overlooks the confluence of this two river.
The name of the village comes from the occitan language. It was first Saint-Eumache, then Saint-Chamassy. It was over the centries under the domination of the lords of Bigaroque and Limeuil.
Situated halfway between Perigueux, Sarlat and Bergerac, the quiet combined with variety of landscapes makes it a haven into an area rich in tourist attractions.
