Village des Eyzies-de-Tayac Sireuil
The world capital of prehistory is a little village of the Black Perigord, into the heart of the Vezere valley, close to the Lascaux Cave and to Sarlat la Canéda.
The Prehistory built his science here thanks to illustrate names like Peyrony, Lartet, Capitan, Abbot Breuil and Abbot Glory. The Cro-Magnon man was discovered here, some of the best wall art was discovered here too, and especially the last polychrome painting cave open to the public : Font de Gaume.
