In Périgord Noir, the Lascaux Cave is a masterpiece of prehistoric art with frescoes representing around 600 animals (horses, bulls, deer, felines, etc.) and enigmatic signs. The site can be rediscovered today at the International Center for Cave Art, a space of more than 8000 m² at the foot of Lascaux hill.

This exceptional place includes a complete and unique replica of the cave and 6 exhibition rooms retracing the discovery of Lascaux, its place in world cave art and contemporary creation.

You will live an immersive experience at the heart of Prehistory, notably thanks to technological prowess, both for the construction of the building and the visiting tools (augmented reality, 3D screen, etc.). A moving and sensory journey guaranteed!
