Village de Rouffignac St-Cernin
Into the forest of Barade, Rouffignac Saint-Cernin de Reilhac is situated at the top of the highest black Perigord hill.
The “cave of a hundred mammoths” is one of the interest of Rouffignac, discover too its beautiful landscapes thanks a various nature.
The real atypicality of Rouffignac is the architecture of the center. Indeed, during the Second World War it was totally destroy. The 31st march 1944, the center burned under firebombs. The church and some houses around are the only buildings who resisted.
Inhabitants rebuilt their village from 1948.
