Journey to the heart of our origins, from Neanderthal to Cro-Magnon.

Nestled in a haven of greenery and located between two cliffs in the heart of the Vézère valley, in this astonishing Prehistoric park you will discover life-size scenes of the daily life of the first Neanderthal hunter-gatherers and the men of Cro- Magnon.

Along the way, you will delve into the lifestyles and customs of prehistoric people in the very places where they lived 35 years ago, and you will be able to observe the diversity of prehistoric animals. The explanatory panels that line the route allow a scientific and educational approach to the daily life of the presence of prehistoric man in these places.
