The Vézère river, she is unfortunately not not allowed for swimming.
Also think about your safety: avoid the slippery banks ou steep, and prefer another place if you are with your children (a beach, a lake ou a pond).

Swimming in the Bos Ponds

Swimming at the Tamniès lake

In the heart of Périgord Noir, between Sarlat and the village of Montignac-Lascaux, is the Tamniès lake: a small pond with a supervised beach during the day and various activities (fishing, playground, sports course, picnic tables, etc.) A bar, a restaurant and parking also equip the place.

Swimming at Lake Groléjac

For a moment of relaxation or a sporting day, go to the Roc Percé leisure center of Groléjac. This body of water, located near Sarlat, extends on 15 hectares and also offers many activities and services:

  • Supervised beach in the afternoon in summer;
  • Pedal boat rental on the lake ;
