Geocaching is a fun and innovative way for adults, and especially children, to discover a town or region! Guided by a smartphone application, set off on a treasure hunt in the Dordogne valley.

Several routes are available: in Sarlat, in the villages of La Roque-Gageac and Beynac or in Peyzac le Moustier, Audrix, Montignac-Lascaux or Campagne.

Visits to medieval castles and villages

The Périgord Noir is also famous for its many castles and palaces. Middle Ages and its villages, some of which are listed the most beautiful in France.

What to see after a day in Sarlat-la-Canéda :

Don't forget the prehistoric sites in the Périgord, such as the abri de Laugerie Bassethe Cro Magnon shelter and the Bara Bahau cave.
