Take time to discover the village of Audrix!

This charming village is one of the highest in the Périgord Noir (240 metres above sea level). Come and admire the panoramic view over the village of Le Bugue and the Vézère valleys and the Dordogne.


Sound Romanesque fortified church with its unusual facade and bell tower, hosts a number of concerts at the Festival Musique en Périgord at the beginning of August.

Things to see and do in Audrix

Set off in pursuit of "Zarthus", thanks to the geocaching application ".Terra Aventura".
You can also take advantage of the hiking trails, with 3 loops starting from the village:

  • The Combes loop

Fancy a dip? The municipal swimming pool is open in July and August. The village of Audrix is also home to the largest cave in the Périgord: The Proumeyssac chasm. Try your hand at descending the chasm in a gondola and discover this fantastic underground world.
