Fanlac: in the land of Jacquou le Croquant
The charming village of Fanlac is located 7km from Montignac-Lascaux. The village was made famous in 1969 by the film based on the novel byEugene le Roy « Jacquou the Crunch ". This filming brought a lot to this small village, whose inhabitants willingly lent themselves to the game of figuration. There is no point looking for “Jacquou’s house” today; it has since been destroyed.
