Take time to discover the village of Saint-Avit-de-Vialard!
This peaceful village in the Black Perigord is located 6 km from Bugue. Set in a heavily wooded agricultural landscape, the church is the heart of the village: it has lived through the turbulent times of Périgord and still bears the scars of those times.
Built on a hill, this 17th-century Romanesque building has been restored.
During the restoration work, the altar stone that adorned the original sanctuary was found and put back in place. The village also boasts a small traditional heritage: a fountain and its laundry recently restored.
