Concert – Tigre qui pleure "EL GATO NEGRO"
Saturday March 29 at 20:00 p.m.
Centre Culturel 24200 SARLAT-LA-CANEDA
Everyone knows that Toulouse, in the southwest of France, has given birth to many talented singers and musicians. Here is one of his offspring, a black cat with a lucky adventurer streak, who has gotten into the habit of escaping the roofs of the pink city to travel the world. An inexhaustible traveler, El Gato Negro stopped in Dakar to record Tigre Qui Pleure.
Axel, aka El Gato Negro, deploys on his new album produced by Guts, an unexpected musical depth, combining softness and complexity in his messages. His tour brings together Salif Diarra, Mary May and Pablo Senties, mixing Mandingo influences, rap and Afro-Latin percussions.
From “Cumbia Libre” to his engagements with Amnesty International, El Gato Negro has honored Latin music and explored electronic sounds, leaving his mark wherever he has lived.
