Danse – Compagnie Sylex Sylvie Balestra "GRRRRR"

Grrrrr is a dance solo for young audiences, from 3 years old, which is played in a circle with very close proximity. The piece offers a dance ritual where animal figures appear made of skins, hair and feathers. Thanks to an impressive costume, the body transforms, from a tiger to a bird to a horse. This whole bestiary of hybrid animals with dancer's legs brings spectators into a universe that is at once sweet, grotesque and magical. Using an anthropological and playful approach, this show will raise awareness among young spectators by taking them back to the origins of dance. A joyful and wild experience, Grrrrr invites us all to get moving, children and adults, in a grand final ball.
