After many years spent in the world of cinema, Jean Denis Robert returned to his first love, photography. His favorite field is still life and he likes to tell stories around surreal worlds made from everyday objects.
He has a lot of fun with a series of works devoted to broken glasses, carefully staged.
Faithful to film photography, Jean Denis Robert works his shots with modern post-production techniques which allow him to refine the strange atmospheres that emerge from his settings.
Dedication of his latest art book “Rapsodie pour des ruines” (a photographic collection of cabins and 28 stories).
