Exposition – Forêts d'ici
Sunday, December 08 at 10:00 p.m.
Pôle d'interprétation de la Préhistoire 30 Rue du Moulin 24260 LES EYZIES
The forest is omnipresent in the landscape of the Vézère valley where it covers more than half of the territory, or 58% (the national average is 35%). Far from being immutable, the forest cover has changed over time, depending on climatic variations and the impact of human activities.
Here we offer you a photographic walk in the forest, with the beautiful images of Corine Oosterlee, photographer and botanist, the animals captured by the lens of David Guigue. Discovering the multiple facets of this natural environment so intimately linked to the history of the inhabitants of the Vézère valley, this exhibition is enriched with video capsules with contributions from specialists.
