“Nowhere does there exist a uniquely feminine misfortune, nor a debasement that hurts daughters without hurting fathers. […] » GERMAINE TILLION
What does it mean to be a man today in the #MeToo era? What does it mean to be a good guy? A good lover? A good father? How to escape the expectations of a dominant sexuality? How to move the lines of social diktats?
With La Tendresse, Julie Berès offers a punchy, funny and profound show on the question of the masculine. We are told the story of young men who build themselves and struggle with cultural heritage, the wishes of tradition and the sometimes contradictory injunctions of society.
On the stage, eight performers, remarkable for their energy and sincerity, all from different backgrounds, address the audience.
