Located between Le Bugue and Les Eyzies, the pleasant village of Campagne offers old restored houses, a church of various styles, and especially a superb castle. With a varied and very ancient past, the presence of the man has been attested for more than 60 000 years.
The cave of Roc de Marsal testifies to this prehistoric presence with the discovery, in 1961, of a complete skeleton of a Neanderthal child.

The park of the castle of Campagne has a remarkable vegetal richness. It bears the influence of English 19th century gardens.

Three loops of hiking are offered to you to discover the many curiosities that this forest encloses :
- Loop of Peyrat
- South Forest Loop
- Loop of the Northern Forest.
In July-August, the countryside forest welcomes "Active summer" with a rich program of sports / activities of nature (climbing, speleology, archery, ....).
The cliff of Roc de Fayard is a site of climbing which offers you 53 ways, of which 20 routes of initiation.
