Campagne, crossroads to Dordogne and Vézère valleys. 

Located between Le Bugue and Les Eyzies, the pleasant village of Campagne offers old restored houses, a church of various styles, and especially a superb castle. With a varied and very ancient past, the presence of the man has been attested for more than 60 000 years.
The cave of Roc de Marsal testifies to this prehistoric presence with the discovery, in 1961, of a complete skeleton of a Neanderthal child.

The Campagne Park includes a castle, outbuildings and a landscaped park of 6 ha opening onto a forest of 367 ha.
The park of the castle of Campagne has a remarkable vegetal richness. It bears the influence of English 19th century gardens.
In the shade of the redwoods and centuries-old cedars, the park of the Castle of Campagne invites you to the walk and the dream.

Walkers and sportsmen especially appreciate this place.

Three loops of hiking are offered to you to discover the many curiosities that this forest encloses :
- Loop of Peyrat
- South Forest Loop
- Loop of the Northern Forest.

In July-August, the countryside forest welcomes "Active summer" with a rich program of sports / activities of nature (climbing, speleology, archery, ....).

The cliff of Roc de Fayard is a site of climbing which offers you 53 ways, of which 20 routes of initiation.
