Holidays Dordogne-Périgord in Fanlac by the tourist offices
Into the land of "Jacquou le Croquant"
The charming village of Fanlac is located 7km from Montignac-Lascaux.
The village was made famous in 1969 by the film taken from Eugène le Roy's novel "Jacquou le Croquant". The shooting brought a lot to this small village, whose inhabitants lent themselves to playing as extras.
No need to search today for "Jacquou's house", it has since been destroyed.
Stones and lauzes ...
Discover the narrow streets of Fanlac and admire this typical Perigord village with its lauze-roofed houses. Make a stop at the workshop of Kristof Mascher, craftsman who works fish leather.
You can also take one of the 2 hiking loops from the village:

- Boucle de l'Orsinie
