Your itinerary
Step 1
Port Square:
From the square, cross the Route de la Dordogne to continue on the street opposite and pass under the medieval gate. Continue to Rue du Port. Take this street on the right and continue towards the upper part of the village. Always keep right until Place des Fossés.
Step 2
Place des Fossés:
Keep heading to take the first left at the intersection of the roads (Rue de la Porte de Marquisat). Pass in front of the Church of Sainte-Catherine and continue to the medieval gate on the Route des Crêtes.
Step 3
Medieval Gate / Ridge Road:
Follow the tarmac road and leave the village until the first path on the left. Turn left onto the latter with the PR® (Yellow) and GR® (White and Red) markings. Stay on course until the next road.
Step 4
Water Tower Route:
Turn left onto the tarmac road and continue straight until the next hairpin junction on the right.
Step 5
Hairpin intersection:
Follow the path under the woods to the right at Bois d'Amour. Continue straight at the first fork to reach a second. Take the path to the right and stay until you reach the tarmac road.
Step 6
Water tower route:
Continue straight on twice and pass a water tank. Then continue straight on a shortcut to take the road on the left and arrive at Queyrelevat at the Route de Carlux.
Step 7
Carlux Road:
Turn right onto the small tarmac road until you reach the intersection, after Carlux, with the Chemin de la Porte. Cross the road and go left onto the path to go down into the valley to the road, continuing straight on until the end of the path on the Route de Saint-Martin.
Step 8
Saint-Martin Route:
Turn left onto the main road then at the crossroads of the Bois de la Tour take the path on the right. Make a left/right to pass in front of the buildings of La Reynie and arrive on the banks of the Vézère. Then turn right towards Perdigat.
Step 9
Perdigat:
Continue straight on and cross the Vitrolle apple trees and follow the Vézère for 2 km then return to Place du Port, always keeping left at each crossroads.
