Ecomobility in Les Eyzies-de-Tayac

Pédestre, Vélo

Les Eyzies railway station is 700 metres from the village centre, providing direct access to the heart of the Vézère valley and to the heart of prehistory. The village is home to an impressive number of prehistoric sites, or sites dedicated to prehistory. For walkers, the "Micoque loop" leads from the village beneath the high cliffs of Laugerie to the Micoque site, which has revealed traces of occupation dating back at least 350,000 years.
