An unmissable event which takes place in Paris but some events are relocated to the provinces. Football matches will take place at Matmut Atlantique in Bordeaux, just 1h30 from the Dordogne.
There is no doubt that the whole of Périgord will support the French team during this international competition. Especially since some athletes are from the Dordogne (Manon Hostens, Yohann Kowal, Shani Bru)!
In the meantime, we train for the various events that have become Olympic such as canoeing, climbing, rugby or mountain biking thanks to the equipment in the Vézère valley.
What if you're not too sporty? We prepare fan songs and wild choreographies to support the athletes. We participate in the party in another way.
May 22, 2024: Montignac-Lascaux vibrated as the Olympic flame passed
The Olympic flame stopped in Dordogne on May 22, 2024. A beautiful atmosphere for this pre-Olympic day.
After passing through Sarlat, the Olympic flame entered the Lascaux cave and roamed the streets of Montignac-Lascaux!
On this occasion, many sports were presented in the Olympic village. Some of them are accessible during the summer holidays.
