Holidays in Dordogne or Périgord?

An unforgettable stay in New Aquitaine inevitably passes through the Dordogne! The fame of South West for holidays in France no longer needs to be done. In this large region, we find the Gironde beaches to the west, the mountains of the Massif Central to the east, the land of Porcelain to the north, and the singing accent to the south.
And to the chorus of all the pride that makes France a wonderful country: Périgord ! A rural territory where the inhabitants live in communion with tourism and agriculture.

We may have abandoned the name of theold province: “Périgord” to live in Dordogne, there remains one strong heritage.

We always talk about four colors of Périgord when we talk about tourism.
The vineyards of Bergerac, the castle of Castelnaud or that of Beynac near Sarlat, the characteristic white stone of Périgueux and the surrounding towns are all invitations to discover our entire department.
Here is why you will choose Périgord for your holidays in the southwest of France and find which region suits you best in our beautiful land of 1001 castles.
