Village de Fleurac

The charming village of Fleurac is located on the heights of the Vézère Valley. The village is home to the famous cave known as Rouffignac or Miremont, the largest in Périgord: 8km of galleries decorated with numerous Magdalenian paintings. This cave is in fact named Cro de Grandville: "only the entrance is in the town; but the Fleuracois have always considered it as one of their caves."
The town is also home to several castles: Fleurac, a large 19th century wine estate; Malbec (16th century); Souffron (17th – 19th century), Cluzeau (16th – 18th century); Le Peuch (18th century).
