Village de Audrix

It is by climbing that you will discover Audrix.
This charming village is one of the highest in the Périgord Noir (240 m altitude). Come and admire the panorama over the village of Le Bugue and the valleys of the Vézère and the Dordogne.
Its fortified Romanesque church with its atypical facade and its bell tower, welcomes in August some of the concerts of the Festival Musique en Périgord. Go in search of "Zarthus", thanks to the geocaching application "Terra Aventura".
The village of Audrix is also home to the largest accessible cave in the Périgord: Le Gouffre de Proumeyssac. Try a gondola descent into the chasm and discover this fantastic underground world.
In the off-season, stop off at the Auberge Médiévale for a bite to eat, and taste the typical products of our region.
For nature lovers, 3 hiking trails start from the car park of the municipal swimming pool (open only in summer).
