The International Prehistory Centre, located in Les Eyzies-de-Tayac in the Dordogne, welcomes you to the heart of the Vézère valley, which has been occupied by Man for 400,000 years.

Nestled at the exit of the village in the direction of the Lascaux cave and Sarlat, it is the ideal place to learn about prehistory. You can also easily reach the National Museum of Prehistory on foot, just a few metres away.

With 3,000 m2 of free space designed for all audiences (reception, information, exhibitions, workshops and educational courses, media library, cyberspace, films and documentaries, conferences, shows, activities, shop), this place is an invitation to enrich your stay and discover the prehistoric sites of the Vézère valley.
