Les Grottes du Roc de Cazelle

Come and discover in this prehistoric park reconstructions of the lives of our distant ancestors, in the very places where they lived. You will walk along the steep cliffs, entirely excavated with caves, refuges, underground passages and habitats in which countless tools and weapons carved by Prehistoric Men have been collected. Numerous scenes will take you chronologically from Prehistory to the Middle Ages where the site was dug and converted into a real fortified castle. You will also see the monolithic house of the last inhabitants of Cazelle, entirely carved out of the rock and still occupied in the 1960s.
