Village of Saint Avit de Vialard
Saint-Avit-de-Vialard is a peaceful village in the Périgord Noir region, at the centre of a triangle formed by the towns of Périgueux, Bergerac and Sarlat. It is built on a hill at an altitude of 220 metres.
The commune is made up of woodland with magnificent shady paths winding through it, and boasts a magnificent market town with a Romanesque church dating back to the 12th century. Prehistoric remains can still be seen at "Les Fieux".
Saint-Avit-de-Vialard has been classified as a tourist municipality, thanks in particular to its top-class "Saint Avit loisirs" leisure complex.
