Vacances Dordogne-Périgord in Plazac by the Tourist Offices Lascaux Dordogne

Plazac, hidden treasure of black perigord

Charming village at 100 meters above sea level, between Montignac-Lascaux and Les Eyzies. Plazac is built on a hillside in the Vimont valley, a river with beautiful clear waters where you can tease the trout 5 km from the Vézère.
This small village lets slip the perspective of its pink roofs, houses with square towers, Perigord stone roofs as well as its fountains and the hall that will not leave you indifferent.

Plazac invites to contemplation

Walking in this charming village will allow you to discover a medieval inspired garden, located at the foot of the bishops' castle and in the immediate vicinity of the church of Plazac.
In the village and all around, the everyday heritage, witness of the past, reflects the craftsmanship of generations that preceded us, and their beliefs, rites, customs. In Plazac, you will discover 10 crosses and 7 fountains while strolling in the village.
From the village you can take one of the 2 hiking trails:
Boucle des pléniers
