How peaceful is this river!

On longe partly the right bank of the Vezere starting from the village of Bugue. A stroll along the quays takes you to the picnic area. We can stop, we are in front of the entrance to the Prehistoric Labyrinth and the Big Bird! Or continue behind the Bournat park and follow the river to the village of Saint-Cirq then return by the same route. Pay attention to the distance!

Who will find Cro-magnon before his total disappearance?

Become explorers, go on an expedition in search of the last Cro-Magnon still alive. On more than 1000m², you will need to resolve 35 puzzles throughout your journey crossing 7 different atmospheres.

The Big Bird is the tallest aerial route of Europe peaking at 22 meters high! Tame heights safely. On 4 floors, you will achieve 75 agility challenges and different challenges such as high altitude snowboarding.

The hotel-restaurant, in the heart of the village of Bugue, offers bistronomic cuisine combining terroir and originality.
Each dish is prepared to order, with care and attention. The chef and his team will share with you their love of fresh, local and homemade products.

You will have the opportunity to sleep there, in one of the 11 rooms recently redecorated by the owners.

Strolls and local products

In Périgord, we eat strawberries, foie gras, duck, etc. Let's go for the souvenir shopping ! On this market which takes place on Tuesdays and Saturday mornings, you can find fruits and vegetables from local producers but also ready-made meals for those in a hurry as well as artisanal objects.

Always in moderation but let's enjoy all the same!

Ce wine bar located in the heart of Les Eyzies offers you a selection of bottles from the most beautiful regions of France. Nosco is a friendly restaurant where you can taste local products selected for their quality.

The treasure is yours!

According to the legend of “Cum Arca”, the Ark of the Covenant is located in the heart of the Commarque castle in the mystical Beune valley. It would contain a secret protected for centuries by a diabolical mechanism. Your mission will be to continue the quest of the famous archaeologist, Professor Léopold, of whom we have not heard from for several months. You have 60 minutes!

Step 8: Visit Sarlat by night

Discovering the capital of Périgord Noir.

In the evening, you will discover theatmosphere which reigns in Sarlat and the very special lighting of the city. Sodium vapor lamps which help combat light pollution provide a romantic charm and aesthetic in the medieval heart of the city of La Boétie.

From April, the town comes alive thanks to guided tours organized by the Sarlat-Périgord Noir tourist office.

Overlooking the Vézère valley from a height of 80m, Roque Saint-Christophe is a must during your stay in Périgord. Halfway between Les Eyzies and Montignac-Lascaux, you will discover by visiting this cliff how humans have developed the territory from prehistory to the present day.

Step 10: Picnic in Saint-Léon

Quiet by the water

The river banks are perfect for bucolic stops with gingham tablecloths and picnic baskets. This village with typical charm is an ideal setting to bite into yesterday's market provisions!

Step 11: Adventure trail – Prehistobranch

I fly, I soar, I slide!

Come and have fun in an exceptional setting, between castles and troglodyte sites in this Tree Climbing park nature. Guaranteed sensations on the zip lines, one of which is over 200m long, the rope bridges, the Tarzan jumps, etc.
