The Lébérou storytelling festival, unfolding in November, invites you to discover the tales and legends of Perigord.
BUT WHAT IS “LÉBÉROU”? The lebérou is a man (or a woman for that matter) struck by a curse. To atone for his fault, he must, in one night, travel through 7 parishes, and pass under 7 bell towers on 4 legs, dressed in a simple animal skin. And all this, of course, before daybreak.
So if you come across him in the Périgord night, be careful, the leberou is only waiting for one thing, to be able to jump on your back in order to be transported more quickly...
