Do you love truffles? Taste it in all its forms during your stay in Périgord. Don't forget to visit Lascaux or La Roque Saint-Christophe, just a stone's throw from the world capital of prehistory, during your winter holidays in the Dordogne.

The Périgord truffle

It's the peak season for truffle markets. You can simply stroll down the aisles to inhale the smells, or treat yourself to a tasty treat for an evening meal with friends.

Black gold from the Périgord adds spice to all your dishes

You don't have to be a Michelin-starred chef to cook the truffle. Grated onto a plate of pasta or mixed into an omelette, the Périgord truffle is sure to impress your friends on your return from holiday. If you're not tempted, simply indulge yourself in the restaurants of the Vézère valley during your stay.

Discovering our villages

Winter and its bare trees reveal little-known gems. Open your eyes and admire the architecture of the Périgord.

A castle here? A wash-house over there?

The Dordogne is full of small heritagewhich bear witness to the history of our villages, in addition to its emblematic sites such as Lascaux, Les Eyzies, Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère and La Roque Saint-Christophe. Winter is the ideal time to discover them.

Explore the hiking trails or take your vehicle to explore the routes du Périgord Black and discover Fleurac and its manor house, Audrix and its impressive views over the Dordogne valley, Sergeac and its Templar cross.
