Do you like truffles? Enjoy it in all its forms during your stay in Périgord. Don't forget to visit Lascaux or La Roque Saint-Christophe, a stone's throw from the world capital of Prehistory, during your winter holidays in the Dordogne.

Périgord truffle

It’s peak season for the truffle markets. We simply walk the aisles to smell the smells where we enjoy a little taste pleasure for the evening meal with friends.

The black gold of Périgord adds pep to all your dishes

You don't need to be a star chef to cook truffle. Grated on a plate of pasta or mixed in an omelette, you will amaze your friends when they return from your vacation with Périgord truffle. If you are not tempted, just have fun in the restaurants of the Vézère valley during your stay.

Discovering our villages

Winter and its bare trees allow us to see little little-known gems. Open your eyes and admire the architecture of Périgord.

A castle here? A wash house there?

The Dordogne is full of small heritages, which bear witness to the history of our villages, in addition to its iconic sites such as Lascaux, Les Eyzies, Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère or La Roque Saint-Christophe. The winter period is the ideal time to discover them.

Survey them hiking trails or take your vehicle to explore the Périgord roads Black and uncover Fleurac and his mansion, audrix and its impressive view of the Dordogne valley, Sergeac and its Templar cross.

Take advantage of the winter tranquility to be a privileged visitor.

Exhibitions are all year round
