VISIT A TROGLODYTE SITE
Protected under the cliffs, the troglodytic sites allow you to admire the Vézère Valley while protecting you from the rain. Fort, village or castle, their beauty and history will make you forget the dull weather.
VISIT A PREHISTORIC SITE
Take advantage of the bad weather to learn about prehistory. In the village of Les Eyzies, the National Museum of Prehistory, the Abri Pataud and the Pôle d'Interprétation de Préhistoire (Prehistory Interpretation Centre) welcome you inside.
It is also the ideal time to visit a prehistoric or geological cave. It's a good thing we have plenty of them in the Vézère Valley! Be careful in high season, to avoid waiting, where possible book in advance.
