Gouffre de Proumeyssac

Named “Crystal Cathedral”, Proumeyssac is today the largest developed cavity in Périgord.

2 New sounds and lights – 360° mapping: in 2019 the Gouffre de Proumeyssac was the first underground site in France to use lighting with “3D mapping” to enhance a cavity.
Previously focused on a part of the Chasm, this technology, so appreciated by the public, will now be deployed across the entire natural setting of the "Crystal Cathedral". Visitors will thus have a unique experience in this mineral universe to the rhythm of dazzling sounds and lights.
As in the last century, spectacular and original, the visit option with descent in a gondola allows you to live an extraordinary experience (11 people).
The vast free park, reserved for our visitors, has a fun-educational area about the underground world.
