Le Bugue, at the gates of the Vézère, opens onto the Valley of Man.
Crossed by the Vézère, the Bugue is an amphitheater on the slope of a rich hill. The village is known for more than 8 centuries for its market which is held on Tuesday morning. Due to its ambience and by its products it has become the appointment not to be missed!
The village also has one of the ornate Palaeolithic caves of the Vézère Valley: the Bara-Bahau cave.

Here you can discover the largest private freshwater aquarium in Europe: the Aquarium of Black Périgord. The Prehistoric Labyrinth invites you to become explorers in search of the last Cro-Magnon. And you can also cross the ages and make back in 1900, in the Parc du Bournat.
Are you a sportsman? So much the better!
Come to take the height on the 1st aerial and urban route of France: The Big Bird, with its 57 challenges of agility and challenges! For the less reckless, the 18-hole miniature golf, the Jungle Golf, will offer you a relaxing moment in a site surrounded by lush nature. The village has a pleasant camper service area along the river in a natural and relaxing.
In July / August, every Tuesday evening of the gourmet food markets take place along the river Vézère.
A municipal swimming pool welcomes you from June to September.
